STATEMENT OF SERVICES
EEA is a professional environmental consulting firm, established in 1979 to provide expert technical investigation, design and consulting services to its public and private clients. EEA’s services span a broad range of environmental disciplines. Our consulting services include investigations and remedial corrective actions for environmental hazards, such as hazardous materials investigations (Phase I and Phase II investigations), air quality studies, vapor intrusion studies, and noise studies. EEA’s environmental project management team provides design services for environmental clean-up actions. This team also routinely provides project oversight for hazardous material mitigation, treatment and disposal projects, including projects requiring compliance with regulatory agency directives. EEA provides expert environmental construction and management services during property construction activities which require regulatory intervention and inspection approvals. EEA has extensive experience with environmental work at new property development sites such as Brownfields sites, New York City CEQR sites and e-Designated properties.
EEA is also one of the few local environmental consulting firms having extensive experience in ecological services, including investigation, design and consulting services addressing marine and aquatic biology, freshwater wetlands, marine wetlands, endangered species, and habitat restoration. Our services include studies under federal requirements concerning Essential Fish Habitat Assessments, and studies supporting NYS Article VII permit applications for public utilities. Additionally, EEA’s environmental professionals routinely prepare environmental impact statements including NEPA EISs, SEQRA EISs and CEQRA EISs. We also provide services in the areas of stormwater mapping, stormwater mitigation plans, erosion control programs, and sediment control programs. EEA’s team of experienced ecologists and Landscape Architects assist our clients in receiving approvals from federal and state environmental regulatory agencies for their site development projects in ecologically sensitive areas. The Ecological Sciences Group has a full range of sampling equipment, including two full-size research boats capable of virtually any type of marine sampling operations.
